Abstract:
The bottom surface of a cylinder head (3) defining a combustion chamber (1) is formed in a generally spherical shell shape. Three or more ignition points (21) are positioned on the concentric circle having a diameter of 55-70% of the diameter of a cylinder block (30) or in the vicinity thereof, and burning in the combustion chamber (1) is performed at an excess air ratio of 1.5 or higher.
