Abstract:
A multi-pole connector (100), comprising a first connector (10) and a second connector (20) that can be inter-fitted with the first connector (10). The first electrical connector (10) comprises a first insulator (11), first terminals (12) fastened to two opposite sides of the first insulator (11), and a first metal shielding case (13) that is fastened to the first insulator (11) and that surrounds the first terminals (12). The multi-pole connector (100) further comprises a shielding member (14); the shielding member (14) is embedded in the first insulator (11) and is located between the first terminals (12) on the two opposite sides; the first insulator (11) and the shielding member (14) are formed by using in-mold injection molding. A positioning hole (15) into which a mold limiting block (60) is embedded so as to position the shielding member (14) is provided on the first insulator (11). In the described multi-pole connector (100), the positioning hole (15) is provided on the first insulator (11), and during injection molding, the mold limiting block (60) positions the shielding member (14) by means of the positioning hole (15), and the distances from the first terminals (12) disposed on both sides of the shielding member (14) to the shielding member (14) can be controlled to be equal to thereby control the impedance of channels of the first terminals (12), improve the high-frequency high-speed transmission performance of the first terminals (12), and adapt to a 5G signal transmission requirement.
