The present invention provides a multi-stage connector assembly and a female connector. The multi-stage connector assembly comprises a first substrate, a female connector, a male connector, and a second substrate; the female connector comprises a first insulating body, elastic terminals and a first metal housing, the male connector comprises a second insulating body and fixed terminals, and the female connector further comprises first metal shielding members and second metal shielding members which are fixed on the first insulating body and are perpendicular to each other; the first metal shielding member are arranged between columns of the elastic terminals, and the second metal shielding member are arranged between two adjacent elastic terminals in the same column; the fixed terminals comprise signal transmission terminals and ground terminals, the elastic terminals are in contact with the signal transmission terminals in one-to-one correspondence, and the second metal shielding members are in contact with the ground terminals in one-to-one correspondence; and shielding fillet welds are further provided at the locations of the edges of the first metal housing corresponding to the two ends of each second metal shielding member. The present invention can solve the problems of mutual interference between internal signals of connectors and leakage of signals.
