Abstract:
Disclosed is a multi-stage fuse structure capable of withstanding lightning current, which is provided in a fuse for fusing a protection circuit when the current exceeds a rated value, and comprises two third-stage conductors. At least one first-stage conductor and at least one second-stage conductor are provided between the third-stage conductors. The third-stage conductor is connected to an external circuit. The melting point of both the first-stage conductor and the third-stage conductor is higher than that of the second-stage conductor. The first-stage conductor is energized, generates heat, and transfers same to the second-stage conductor so that the temperature of the second-stage conductor increases. When the temperature increases to the melting point of the second-stage conductor, the second-stage conductor is fused so as to form an open circuit. The fuse structure in the present invention can withstand great lightning current pulse without fusing, and can be fused under low utility frequency current by using a fuse temperature diffusion technology, a staged fuse material combination technology, and a staged fuse inductance cancellation technology.
