A multipath HTTP channel multiplexing method and a terminal, relating to the field of communication technology, being able to implement multipath HTTP channel multiplexing between a terminal and a server, thereby improving the efficiency of data transmission between the terminal and the server. Said method is applied to a terminal, and comprises: a terminal sending a first HTTP request to a first server by means of a first HTTP channel, for requesting for first data; upon receiving a first HTTP response returned by the first server, receiving, by means of the first HTTP channel, a first part of the first data sent by the first server; and if the size of the first data carried in the first HTTP response is greater than a first threshold, generating a second HTTP request, and sending same to a second server by means of a second HTTP channel, for requesting a second part of the first data; and after the first part of the first data has been received, sending control signaling to the first server, so as to disconnect the first HTTP channel.
