Abstract:
The embodiments of the present invention provide a multiplexing service single board, a communication apparatus, and a clock synchronization method therefor. A clock receiving module and a service module are provided on a mainboard of the multiplexing service single board, and a clock sending module and a clock module are further integrated and provided on said mainboard, such that when a communication apparatus uses the multiplexing service single board to perform clock synchronization, the communication apparatus can send a clock signal to a backplane by means of the clock sending module of the multiplexing service single board, and a clock receiving module of each service single board on the backplane is set to obtain the clock signal from the backplane. In other words, the multiplexing service single board can both realize the function of a clock board providing a backplane with a clock signal, as in the relevant art, and also obtain a clock signal from the backplane and send said clock signal to service modules to implement corresponding services, such that it is not necessary to separately make a clock board, which can reduce costs and increase board material utilization. Also, the present invention is able to avoid a separate clock board filling a slot, thus increasing the number of available slots for service single boards inside the frame, increasing slot utilization.
