Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a multipoint distribution system, a distribution method, a management device and a program which determine whether switching between an active system and a standby system is possible. The multipoint distribution system according to the present invention is provided with a distribution destination system importance database which stores the importance of distribution destinations, wherein, when a distribution destination that does not communicate with a video distribution system of the active system is detected, the video distribution system of the active system is switched to a video distribution system of the standby system, only when the distribution destination is determined to be important with reference to the distribution destination system importance database.
