Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a locking tool that is for locking a nail ornament, that allows diverse ornaments to be easily attachable thereto/detachable therefrom, and that further reduces protrusion from the nail surface as compared with conventional locking tools.　A locking tool 100 to be mounted to a nail 4 is provided with a fixing part 110 fixed to the nail 4 and a mounting part 120 for forming a locking space 130 in which an ornament can be locked when the fixing part 110 is fixed, and the locking tool 100 is configured such that the mounting part 120 is formed so as to extend in an outer edge direction of the nail 4 surface. This configuration allows an ornament J0 to be easily attachable to/detachable from the locking tool and also offers diverse types of ornaments that can be locked as compared with the ornaments in the engagement shape. Since the locking tool extends in the outer edge direction of the nail 4 surface, snagging is suppressed also when the ornament J0 is not mounted thereto and obstruction in daily life is unlikely to occur. Further, a conventional locking structure in which a mounting part protrudes substantially vertically is not required, this configuration contributes to ensuring a diversity of shapes of locking tools and widening possibilities of an ornament structure and an ornament method for a nail or an artificial nail.
