Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a high-reflection and low-gloss nanovoid polyester fiber. The present invention provides a nanovoid polyester fiber characterized in that voids exist in at least a portion of the fiber which lies within 1 μm from the fiber surface layer as observed in the fiber cross section, the average equivalent circle diameter of the voids is 10 to 80 nm, the void ratio (or porosity) is 2 to 15%, and the mirror reflection intensity is 30% or more.
