Abstract:
This navigation system comprises a plurality of electric-powered vehicles each having a battery, and a route setting device. The route setting device is provided with: a storage unit that stores group information setting the plurality of electric-powered vehicles as one group, and positional information of power supply stations capable of supplying power to the batteries of the plurality of electric-powered vehicles; a calculation unit that, on the basis of remaining battery levels acquired from the plurality of electric-powered vehicles, calculates the distances to empty of the respective electric-powered vehicles; a determination unit that determines whether or not an electric-powered vehicle having the shortest distance to empty among the plurality of electric-powered vehicles is able to reach a destination; and a traveling guidance unit that, when the electric-powered vehicle is determined not to be able to reach the destination, searches for a power supply station which the electric-powered vehicle having the shortest distance to empty is able to reach in running routes, and guides a route to the destination via the power supply station.
