Abstract:
The present invention relates to a liquid crystal composition, in particular to a nematic liquid crystal composition, more particularly to a negative dielectric anisotropic liquid crystal composition, and the use thereof. The liquid crystal composition provided by the present invention has a large splay elastic constant and a low rotational viscosity, and can improve the contrast and response speed of a liquid crystal display when used in the liquid crystal display. The negative dielectric anisotropic liquid crystal composition comprises at least one of compounds represented by general formula I, at least one of compounds represented by general formula II, at least one of compounds represented by general formula III, and at least one of compounds represented by general formula IV.
