Abstract:
An electron beam sterilization and disinfection system for an open container, and a method therefor. The system comprises an electron beam source (1) and an open container (8), wherein the electron beam source is in the shape of a long strip; the electron beam source is inserted into the open container by means of an opening of the open container; and the electron beam source comprises a cathode apparatus (2), a cathode insulating shell (3) and a filament (6), the top of the cathode insulating shell is provided with a mounting slot, the cathode apparatus is mounted in the mounting slot, the filament is mounted at the bottom of the cathode apparatus and is located inside the cathode insulating shell, and a plurality of emission windows (5) distributed in an annular array are provided in a side wall of the cathode insulating shell that is close to the filament. By means of the system, a bottle or an open container can be disinfected without any secondary contamination, thereby achieving a good sterilization and disinfection effect.
