Abstract:

A nip confirmation system of a printing machine enabling easy nip confirming operation. The system comprises a target roller selection part (10) selecting a roller for confirming the nip width. When a target roller is determined, the rotation angle and the rotation direction of the selected roller are calculated by a master gear rotation angle calculation part (11). A master gear rotation driving part (13) linked with the calculation part rotatingly drives a master gear (18) by a calculated desired angle after the master gear (18) is stopped for a specified time. Consequently, the operator can visually confirm the nip of a target gear without worrying about the rotation direction and the rotation angle of the master gear (18).
