Abstract:
The purpose is to provide a non-aqueous electrolyte that can improve the discharge capacity of a secondary battery. This non-aqueous electrolyte is characterized in that: sulfolane and/or a derivative thereof, a first electrolytic salt, and a second electrolytic salt are included; the first electrolytic salt comprises fluorine; the self-diffusion coefficient of cations included in the first electrolytic salt is at least 0.79 times the self-diffusion coefficient of the sulfolane and/or derivative thereof; if (quantity of fluorine atoms included in an electrolytic salt) / (molecular weight of the electrolytic salt) is considered to be fluorine density, the fluorine density of the second electrolytic salt is less than the fluorine density of the first electrolytic salt; and, if the molar ratio of the first electrolytic salt to the sulfolane and/or derivative thereof is X and the molar ratio of the second electrolytic salt to the sulfolane and/or derivative thereof is Y, 0 < Y / (X + Y) × 100 ≤ 64.
