Abstract:
The present invention relates to a non-contact elevator call device capable of controlling the calling and opening/closing operations of an elevator by recognizing a user's hand motion without button manipulation by physical pressure. To this end, the non-contact elevator call device according to the present invention comprises: a motion recognition unit which includes a non-conductive substrate for setting a sensing area, a transmission electrode that is installed on the bottom surface of the non-conductive substrate and receives power to generate an electric field, reception electrodes that are respectively installed at the corners of the upper surface of the non-conductive substrate and receive the electric field generated by the transmission electrode, and a potential measuring unit for measuring the potentials of the reception electrodes; and a control unit for detecting distortions, in the electric field generated in the sensing area, from the reception electrode potentials measured by the motion recognition unit.
