Abstract:
A non-oriented electromagnetic steel sheet according to the present invention contains no greater than 0.010% of C, 1.0% to 5.0% (inclusive) of Si, 0.05% to 5.0% (inclusive) of Mn, no greater than 0.1% of P, no greater than 0.01% of S, no greater than 3.0% of Al, and no greater than 0.005% of N by mass, the balance being Fe and unavoidable impurities, and has an average crystal grain size between 60 μm and 200 μm (both inclusive), wherein a sum SA of area ratios of crystal grains in which <100> is oriented in a rolling direction or a direction perpendicular to rolling, and a sum SB of area ratios of the crystal grains in which <111> is oriented in the rolling direction or the direction perpendicular to rolling satisfy SA - SB ≥ 0.
