Abstract:
A throttle linkage (22) for an internal combustion engine (20) includes a lever assembly (50) connecting an operator-manipulated input element (44) to an output element (40) that controls at least a throttle of the engine (20). At least one stop pin (52, 54) is mounted on the lever assembly (50) and is configured to engage a stationary seat (86, 88) when the lever assembly (50) is in one of a full-open position and an idle position. The stop pin (52, 54) is axially locked with respect to the lever assembly (50) so as to be axially nonadjustable relative to it.
