Abstract:
A control device for a noncontact power supply device, said control device equipped with: a power transmission coil that outputs an alternating magnetic flux when alternating power is supplied; and a power transmission control unit that controls the alternating power supplied to the power transmission coil. The power transmission control unit is provided with a first mode, in which the alternating power supplied to the power transmission coil is controlled in order to transmit to a power reception coil the power supplied to the load of a power reception device, and a second mode, in which the alternating power is controlled such that less power than is transmitted in the first mode is supplied to the power transmission coil. After startup, the power transmission control unit initially selects the first mode.
