Abstract:
A nonvolatile memory system includes: a NAND flash memory device that includes a first flash conversion layer performing a garbage collection operation; a file system that provides application data in a disordered form; and a host that includes a second flash conversion layer interacting with the file system and controlling the operation of the NAND flash memory device. Thus, the nonvolatile memory system may perform random writing at a relatively high speed and minimize power consumption due to unnecessary data transmission.
