Abstract:
Provided are a nonwoven fabric, inner batting, and weaving or knitting for bedding having the capability of effectively and continuously breaking down and eliminating various kinds of odor causing substances. In this nonwoven fabric, inner batting, and weaving or knitting for bedding, substance breakdown and elimination fibers are used that are formed from: fibers having an air catalyst adhering to the surface thereof, said air catalyst being formed from a metal composition that includes iron, aluminum, potassium, and titanium with the proportion of metal content in the metal composition of 100 - 500 ppm aluminum, 0.5 - 50 ppm potassium, and 0.1 - 50 ppm titanium with respect to 100 ppm iron; and cross-linked acrylate-based moisture absorption and desorption fibers. The metal composition content within the substance breakdown and elimination fibers of the nonwoven fabric, inner batting, and weaving or knitting for bedding is 0.01% by mass or greater, and the cross-linked acrylate-based moisture absorption and desorption fiber content is 50% by mass or greater.
