Abstract:
Provided are: nonwoven fabric, which comprises a large amount of air and in which detachment of fiber fragments is inhibited; and a nonwoven fabric production method. The nonwoven fabric (10) is formed from multiple fibers (11). The average diameter of the multiple fibers (11) is in the range of 0.10-5.00 µm. The porosity of the nonwoven fabric (10) is at least 90%. The average pore diameter of the nonwoven fabric (10) is in the range of 0.5-50 µm. The elongation at break of the nonwoven fabric (10) is at least 10%.
