Abstract:
Disclosed is a novel blood vessel optical fiber guide wire. The blood vessel optical fiber guide wire comprises a metal shaft wire and an optical fiber disposed around the metal shaft wire. The optical fiber comprises a core wire and a cladding wrapped around the core wire. In the blood vessel optical fiber guide wire, in a portion where the optical fiber guide wire transmits light, the bending radius of the optical fiber surrounding the metal shaft wire is greater than a critical bending radius; in a region where the optical fiber guide wire scatters light out, the bending radius of the optical fiber disposed around the metal shaft wire is less than the critical bending radius. The blood vessel optical fiber guide wire of the present invention can be inserted into a blood vessel by means of a percutaneous puncture technique and guided in the blood vessel by medical imaging equipment, and perform lateral light emission with respect to a head portion.
