Abstract:
A novel device for assisting in applying a screen protector, the device comprising a screen protector frame (1) that is provided with an accommodating groove (11); an upper opening edge of the accommodating groove (11) is provided with a pressing edge (111), and the screen protector frame (1) is provided with a drainage groove (113) at a side of the pressing edge (111) for use in guiding excess glue to flow into the groove and be stored therein. During use, after a mobile phone is mounted in the accommodating groove (11), the pressing edge (111) on the screen protector frame (1) tightly presses the edge of the screen of the mobile phone; when applying a screen protector, UV glue is dripped onto the screen of the mobile phone, one end of a tempered glass film is stuck onto the screen of the mobile phone, and then the other end is lowered slowly such that the UV glue levels out evenly; when the tempered glass film is completely attached to the screen of the mobile phone, the UV glue fills the gap between the tempered glass film and the screen of the mobile phone; the pressing edge (111) of the screen protector frame (1) tightly presses the edge of the screen of the mobile phone so that the UV glue does not overflow into an earphone jack or receiver hole on the periphery of the mobile phone; meanwhile, excess UV glue is blocked by the pressing edge (111) and flows into the drainage groove (113) at the side of the pressing edge (111), and flows into the drainage groove (113) for storage so as to ensure the quality of the screen protector.
