An object detection device for detecting a specific object contained in an input image, the device including: a first candidate region specifying unit for specifying a first candidate region containing an object candidate from a first input image acquired by photographing a subject in a first body position; a second candidate region specifying unit for specifying a second candidate region containing an object candidate from a second input image acquired by photographing a subject in a second body position different from the first body position; a deformation displacement field generation unit for generating a deformation displacement field between the first input image and the second input image; a coordinates conversion unit for converting coordinates of the second candidate region into coordinates of the first body position, on the basis of the deformation displacement field; an associating unit for associating the first candidate region with the second candidate region after conversion which is close to the first candidate region; and an identical object determination unit for determining that the object candidates contained in the associated candidate regions are identical and are a specific object.
