Abstract:
An object detection device (10) comprises: a light emitting unit (30) for emitting laser light as illumination light; a light receiving unit (40) for receiving light including reflected light of the illumination light; a plurality of components (50, 60, 70) which operate to detect information on an object through an operation of the light emitting unit (30) and the light receiving unit (40) and have an increased current period in which consumed current is greater than average current; a shared power supply (20) for supplying power for the plurality of components (50, 60, 70); and a control unit (80) for controlling an operation of the plurality of components (50, 60, 70) such that current outputted from the shared power supply (20) is less than predetermined upper limit current.
