Abstract:
An object recognition system according to the present invention is provided with: a light source unit that applies dot light of a prescribed pattern to an object; an event detection sensor that receives the dot light of the prescribed pattern reflected from the object, and detects, as an event, a luminance change of a pixel exceeding a prescribed threshold; and a signal processing unit that removes information items other than an event information item derived from the dot light of the prescribed pattern applied to the object from the light source unit, from among event information items detected by the event detection sensor.
