Abstract:
An obstacle avoidance method and apparatus, an electronic device and a storage medium, which are used for solving the problem of a robot colliding with an irregular object during a movement process of the robot. The method comprises: acquiring a target type of an object included in an image collected by a robot (S201); determining a target expansion distance corresponding to the object according to the target type and a prestored correlation between object types and expansion distances (S202); and according to the target expansion distance and the current distance between the robot and the object, controlling the robot to perform obstacle avoidance with respect to the object (S203). Since a target expansion distance of an object is determined according to a prestored correlation between object types and expansion distances, obstacle avoidance can be performed with respect to the object according to the current distance between the robot and the object, and the target expansion distance, thereby preventing the problem of the robot colliding with an irregular object.
