Abstract:
An obstacle information acquisition apparatus and method, the obstacle information acquisition apparatus comprising: a laser (101) for emitting a line laser; an image collection device (102) for collecting a target image, wherein the target image includes an image (1301) formed on an illumination area of an obstacle by the line laser, and there is a fixed relative positional relationship between the image collection device (102) and the laser (101); an acquisition module (103) for acquiring, from the target image, imaging position information (1302), in the target image, about a laser line image formed on the illumination area of the obstacle by the line laser; and a determination module (104) for determining actual position information about the obstacle according to the imaging position information. By means of the obstacle information acquisition apparatus and method, the accuracy of determining the position of an obstacle can be improved.
