Title:
OIL-WATER SEPARATION DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2021/040478
Kind Code:
A2
Abstract:
The present invention relates to an oil-water separation device and, more specifically, to an oil-water separation device which can allow the flow of an oil-water mixture containing oil components and solid impurities to intermittently remain stagnant, thereby ensuring an appropriate time during which water can sufficiently pass through a hydrophilic filter, and can also minimize clogging of the hydrophilic filter. The oil-water separation device according to the present invention, which is an oil-water separation device for separating oil components and water from an oil-water mixture in which the oil components are mixed and discharging the separated oil components and water, comprises: a filtration means in which at least two filtration parts are successively arranged, each of the filtration parts includes a filter having hydrophilicity and oil repellency or lipophilicity, a passage is provided between each pair of neighboring filtration parts so as to allow the oil-water mixture to flow from one filtration part into the other filtration part, an inlet part is connected to the first filtration part arranged at the beginning so as to allow the oil-water mixture to flow into the first filtration part, and a discharge part is connected to the last filtration part arranged at the end so as to discharge water or oil filtered through the filter; and an opening/closing means which intermittently opens or closes the passage connected between each pair of neighboring filtration parts.
