Abstract:
Disclosed are an aromatization catalyst, a preparation method therefor, and an application thereof, and a light olefin aromatization method, pertaining to the field of aromatization of light olefins into aromatics. The aromatization catalyst comprises a microporous material, a binder, and a modifier. The microporous material is a zeolite molecular sieve, the binder is alumina, the modifier is phosphorus, and the molar ratio of aluminum to phosphorus in the binder is greater than or equal to 1 and less than 5. The ratio of acidity of a strong acid site to the acidity of a weak acid site of the olefin aromatization catalyst is less than 1. The aromatization catalyst can aromatize a light olefin to generate an aromatic. The catalyst has high stability, and the aromatic product has good selectivity, and the catalyst can also effectively reduce the generation of methane and coke.
