Abstract:
Provided is an olefin compound production method that uses a reaction with a base and that enables obtaining a target product with a purity higher than those obtained through conventional technologies. Specifically, provided is an olefin compound production method for obtaining an olefin compound from which hydrogen phosphide had been removed by causing a reaction between a base and a salt of a phosphorus-containing olefin compound, wherein the temperature of the reaction is 50°C or less.
