This opening degree regulation device for a vehicle door is provided with: a check link having a stopper and connected to the body of the vehicle so that the check link is capable of pivoting; a door check which is affixed to the vehicle door, has the check link inserted therethrough, and allows the stopper to come into contact therewith as the door opens, thereby limiting the opening of the door at the full degree of opening thereof; an opening degree regulation member provided to the door so as to be capable of moving between a separation position at which the path of movement of the stopper caused by the opening of the door is open, and an engagement position at which the path of the movement is blocked, the opening degree regulation member allowing the stopper to come into contact therewith as the door opens when the opening degree regulation member is located at the engagement position, thereby limiting the opening of the door at a partial degree of opening thereof; and a drive member for moving the opening degree regulation member from the separation position to the engagement position as an inside door handle is operated, and moving the opening degree regulation member from the engagement position to the separation position in the operation of closing the door performed after the opening operation of the door.
