Abstract:
Provided is an operating unit for elevators which has a simple configuration and enables a more reliable registration of an elevator call. This operating unit for elevators comprises: a housing disposed so as to be attachable to a wall face of an elevator landing or a car; a projection device disposed in the housing so as to be capable of projecting a plurality of characters or character strings on the wall face when the housing is attached to the wall face; a detection device disposed in the housing so as to be capable of detecting the position coordinates of an object that nears the characters or character strings projected by the projection device when the housing is attached to the wall face; and a display device which is disposed in the housing and displays information indicating the car whereto a call corresponding to the position coordinates of the object detected by the detection device is allocated.
