Abstract:
Disclosed are an operation control method and apparatus, a storage medium and a device. The method comprises: detecting a target distance between a first virtual object and a second virtual object during the process of a client running a game, wherein the position of the first virtual object is located behind the position of the second virtual object, and the first virtual object is controlled by the client (S302); when it is detected that the target distance is less than or equal to a first distance threshold, triggering an operation instruction, wherein the operation instruction is used to indicate that the first virtual object has reached a trigger condition for executing an acceleration operation (S304); and in response to the operation instruction, controlling the first virtual object to execute an acceleration operation (S306). The method triggers the execution process of the acceleration operation to prevent the two virtual objects from subsequently maintaining a tandem position relationship, thereby implementing the competitive process of intense game competition.
