Abstract:
Provided are an operation cord which can smoothly turn and has a fail safe function, and a lifting device using the operation cord. An operation cord (9) which can be changed to an endless form by connecting at a connecting section (20) opposite ends of a cord (14). The connecting section (20) is configured such that the outer diameter in the lateral direction thereof is the same as or less than the maximum diameter of the cord (9).
