Abstract:
An operation detection device having: an electrostatic sensor formed by a first conductor and a second conductor that are inserted inside a case; and a control unit connected to the first conductor and the second conductor. The operation detection device applies voltage to both the first conductor and the second conductor by using the control unit and measures the electrostatic capacitance in each. The operation detection device is characterized by having the first conductor and the second conductor arranged in a substantially vertical direction, relative to a detection surface at which an operation body is in contact with the case, when the operation body is detected by the electrostatic sensor.
