Abstract:
The embodiments of the present application disclose an operation device-based Hamming weight calculation method. In the present application, the operation device comprises a controller and a first operation unit, the controller being in signal connection with the first operation unit, the first operation unit comprising a first memory and a first transistor, the drain electrode of the first transistor being connected to the negative electrode of the first memory, and the source electrode of the first transistor being grounded. The Hamming weight calculation method is executed by the controller, specifically, comprising: setting the initial resistance state of the first memory to a low resistance state; determining a first gate voltage of the first transistor according to first bit data in an inputted first binary sequence, and controlling, according to the first gate voltage, the on/off state of the first transistor; controlling, according to the on/off state of the first transistor, a target resistance state of the first memory; and determining, according to a first output current on the source electrode of the first transistor, the Hamming weight of the first bit data.
