Abstract:
According to the present invention, an operational amplifier (100) operates with the entire voltage range of supplied first and second voltages (VDD, GND) as an input/output range. An active load (330) is configured with a first conductive field effect transistor. First and second differential pairs (310, 320) are configured with a second conductive field effect transistor. A first differential pair (310) is configured to allow differential amplification when an input voltage (Vinp) is the second voltage (GND), and a second differential pair (320) is configured to allow differential amplification when the input voltage (Vinp) is the first voltage (VDD). In a selection circuit (305), one among the first and second differential pairs (310, 320) is selectively connected with the active load (330) via differential nodes (Nd1, Nd2) in accordance with the input voltage (Vinp).
