Abstract:
An ophthalmic optical system for observing a subject eye (12), the ophthalmic optical system including an objective lens (130) for forming a pupil that is conjugate with the pupil of the subject eye, and being configured so as to satisfy the conditional expression 0.1 ≤ D/L ≤ 0.25, where L is the distance from the pupil position (Ps) conjugated with the pupil of the subject eye to the pupil (Pp) of the subject eye, and D is the total of the center thicknesses of lenses included in the objective lens (130).
