Abstract:
The optical component according to the present disclosure is provided with a substrate including sapphire and having a first principal surface and a second principal surface that face each other. The inclinations of the first principal surface and the second principal surface are 15 degrees or less with respect to the c plane of the sapphire, and a heat radiation part is provided on the first principal surface and/or the second principal surface.
