Abstract:
An optical computing device and system and a convolution computing method, applicable to the field of artificial neural networks. The optical computing device (100) comprises a light source array (102), a modulator array (104), and a wavelength router (106). The light source array (102) is configured to send a plurality of groups of optical signals according to first data to be computed. The modulator array (104) comprises a plurality of modulators. The modulator array (104) is configured to receive the plurality of groups of optical signals, and output a plurality of intermediate optical signals on the basis of modulated second data. The wavelength router (106) is configured to receive the plurality of intermediate optical signals output by the modulator array (104), and output the plurality of intermediate light signals by means of a plurality of output ports on the basis of the wavelengths of the plurality of intermediate optical signals and an input port, wherein the plurality of optical signals output by means of the plurality of output ports are used to indicate computing results of the first data and the second data. The optical computing device (100) can improve the computing efficiency.
