Abstract:
Provided are an optical device capable of easily correcting a field curvature, an optical device manufacturing method, and a head lamp provided with an optical device. The optical device comprises a lens (11), a plurality of solid-state light sources (12), and a substrate (13) on which the solid-state light sources are mounted. The substrate (13) comprises a rigid base material (14) and a mounting surface (16) formed in the base material (14). The mounting surface (16) is formed in a curved shape substantially corresponding to a focal plane shape of the lens (11), and has a circuit pattern (15) formed thereon. The solid-state light sources (12) are mounted on the mounting surface (16). The substrate (13) is positioned with respect to the lens (11) so that the focal plane of the lens (11) is substantially aligned with exit surfaces of the solid-state light sources (12). Thus, it is possible to correct the field curvature easily.
