Abstract:
An optical element is provided with a base material on the surface of which a curved concave part is formed, and a molding layer disposed on the base material. The molding layer has a main body part located within the concave part when viewed from the depth direction of the concave part, and an elevated part located on the surface of the base material while being connected to the main body part. The curved surface of the main body part that is on the opposite side of the inner surface of the concave part is formed to have a curved concave shape that indents in the same direction as the inner surface of the concave part. An optical function part is disposed on a predetermined surface of the main body part which faces the inner surface of the concave part.
