Abstract:
An optical fiber array connector and a method for manufacturing a metasurface lens. The optical fiber array connector comprises a substrate, optical fibers, and a cover plate; the substrate is provided with a plurality of grooves; the optical fibers are placed in the grooves; the end surfaces of the optical fibers are configured to be an inclined optical plane; a light exit region of the cover plate corresponding to the end surfaces of the optical fibers is provided with a metasurface lens used for converging light; when light is conducted to the end surfaces from the inside of the optical fibers, the inclined optical plane causes the light to be reflected and then propagated towards the cover plate, and the light is diverged in the cover plate due to propagation; when the light is propagated to the light exit region of the cover plate corresponding to the end surfaces of the optical fibers, due to the provision of the metasurface lens, the metasurface lens causes the light emitted from the region to be converged; and the metasurface lens is provided on the cover plate.
