An optical fiber power feeding system 1 is provided with: a power feeding device 110 including a semiconductor laser 111 that performs laser oscillation by electric power and outputs power feeding light 112; a power receiving device 310 including a photoelectric conversion element 311 that converts the power feeding light112 from the power feeding device 110 into electric power; and an optical fiber cable 200 for transmitting the power feeding light 112 from the power feeding device 110 to the power receiving device 310, and is configured so as to, if the power feeding device 110 is provided with a plurality of semiconductor lasers (111a, 111b, 111c) that output power feeding light of different wavelengths, and the power receiving device 310 is provided with a plurality of photoelectric conversion elements (311a, 311b, 311c) having different photoelectric conversion efficiencies, select a combination of a semiconductor laser and a photoelectric conversion element that is desirable for performing predetermined power feeding in the system, and operate one among the plurality of semiconductor lasers and one among the plurality of photoelectric conversion elements.
