Abstract:
The optical fiber sensing system according to the present invention comprises: a cable (20) that includes optical fibers; a reception unit (31) that receives, from at least one optical fiber included in the cable, an optical signal having a pattern that corresponds to the state of an object being monitored; and a monitoring unit (32) that specifies, on the basis of the pattern of the optical signal, the position of the object being monitored, and specifies, on the basis of positional variation of the specified position, the trajectory of the object being monitored.
