Abstract:
Disclosed is optical fibre peeling equipment for peeling an exposed coating layer of a single optical fibre. The optical fibre peeling equipment comprises a base (1) and a thermal peeling device (2) mounted on the base (1). The thermal peeling device (2) comprises a heating device (21) configured to heat the exposed coating layer and a cutting device (22). The cutting device (22) comprises an upper blade (221), a lower blade (222) opposite the upper blade (221) and a clearance adjusting device (223). The upper blade (221) and the lower blade (222) cooperate to at least partially cut the exposed coating layer in a radial direction. The clearance adjusting device (223) is arranged to adjust the clearance between the upper blade (221) and the lower blade (222) to suit optical fibre cores with different diameters so as to cut the exposed coating layers of optical fibres with different diameters.
