Abstract:
Provided are an optical filter glass ceramic and an optical filter which have excellent processability and have mechanical properties in consideration of durability and thermal expansion properties that prevent fluctuations in refractive index at a usage temperature of a filter member. This optical filter glass ceramic exhibits an internal transmission rate of 0.970 or more with respect to light having a wavelength of 1550 nm when the thickness thereof is 1 mm, and contains, in mass% in terms of oxides, 40.0-70.0% of a SiO2 component, 11.0-25.0% of an Al2O3 component, 5.0-19.0% of a Na2O component, 0-9.0% of a K2O component, 1.0-18.0% of one or more selected from a MgO component and a ZnO components, 0-3.0% of a CaO component, and 0.5-12.0% of a TiO2 component.
