Abstract:
The problem addressed by the present invention is to provide an optical filter that has both superior visible light cutoff characteristics and transmission characteristics for infrared rays of a specific wavelength even when the angle of incidence is large with reductions in the height of equipment provided with an optical sensor device. This optical filter is characterized by having a base material (i) that includes a resin layer which contains a compound (Z) having an absorption maximum at a wavelength of 700 - 930 nm and a dielectric multilayer membrane formed on at least one surface of the base material (i) and by having specific optical characteristics.
