Title:
OPTICAL LAMINATE, METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING PATTERNED OPTICAL ANISOTROPIC LAYER, 3D IMAGE DISPLAY DEVICE, AND 3D IMAGE DISPLAY SYSTEM
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2021/039525
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention provides an optical laminate, a method for manufacturing a patterned optical anisotropic layer, a 3D image display device, and a 3D image display system which suppress cross talk at the time of 3D image observation even when being applied to a high-definition display panel. Provided is an optical laminate comprising a patterned optical anisotropic layer and a polarizing film, wherein the patterned optical anisotropic layer has a first phase difference region and a second phase difference region that have in-plane slow axis directions different from each other, and a boundary region located at the boundary between the first phase difference region and the second phase difference region, the first phase difference regions and the second phase difference regions are alternately disposed in a first direction and a second direction orthogonal to the first direction in the same plane, the width of the boundary region is 20 μm or less, and regarding one having a smaller area out of the first phase difference region and the second phase difference region, the average spacing between corner parts of the adjacent regions is 60μm or less.
